1. What does Bruce want out of joining Ra’s Al Ghul’s “League of Shadows”? What does Ra’s want with Bruce? How do the two interpret the concepts of justice and evil—and what needs to be done with Gotham City?
2. Why are the concepts of fear, pain, anger, and guilt significant throughout the films? Explain how these things inspire Bruce to become what he became?
3. Does Bruce have the right to become a vigilante and take the law into his own hands? Could he have done something else other than become the batman? How would you react to someone taking the law into his/her own hands?
